About the Meal Participation Report
The Meal Participation Report tracks when a resident has or has not placed an order for a selected meal service (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and day. If a resident has not placed an order, it can indicate a wellness check may be required for that resident.
- When a resident has placed an order the value is Present.
- When a resident has not placed an order the value is Absent or Refused.
Generating the Meal Participation Report
To generate the Meal Participation Report, complete the following steps:
- From the left navigation pane, select Meal Participation Report. The Meal Participation Report screen appears.
- Select the date range of the report via the Start date and End date fields.
- You can narrow down the search results via the following filters:
- Residence Areas
- Meal Status - Absent, Present, Refused
- Meals - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Click the GO button. The report is generated.
Viewing Notes Added to a Meal Refusal
Via the Service Dashboard, the Touch app user can indicate that a meal is being refused (i.e., skipped) by a resident. While doing so, the user has the option of entering a note providing additional information about why the meal was refused.
If such a note is entered for a meal refusal, then it is available for viewing on the Meal Participation report via the View Note link below the refusal reason, as per screenshot below.
Exporting the Report to an Excel® Spreadsheet
To generate the report to an Excel® spreadsheet, click the Export to Excel button at the top right corner.
