Offering an All Day Menu

An all day menu is one in which items are available throughout the day and in between meal services (i.e., breakfast, lunch, dinner).

The means to create an all day menu is to create an Also Available (AA) single day menu and add the same items to each meal service. For example:

  • Breakfast
    • Apple Juice
    • Cranberry Muffin
    • Fruit Cup
    • Ham and Cheese Sandwich
  • Lunch
    • Apple Juice
    • Cranberry Muffin
    • Fruit Cup
    • Ham and Cheese Sandwich
  • Dinner
    • Apple Juice
    • Cranberry Muffin
    • Fruit Cup
    • Ham and Cheese Sandwich

When setting up an AA menu as an all day menu, ensure the following settings are applied, as per screenshot below:

  • Type - select Also Available
  • Clear (i.e., deselect) the House Fallback check box. 
  • For the Extension Type, select No Extensions.
  • Menu Category Choices - select No Choices.
  • Ensure Single Day Menu is selected.
  • Ensure Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are selected.
