About the Meal Participation Report
The meal participation report is run from the POS and tracks when a resident has not placed an order for a selected meal service (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on the current day, and displays their last meal ordered. If a resident has not placed an order, it can indicate a wellness check may be required for that resident.
Running the Meal Participation Report
To run the meal participation report, complete the following steps:
- From the Tools menu, select Meal Participation Report (first screenshot below). The Meal Participation Report screen appears (second screenshot below).
- On the left side of the screen, select the meal service (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) you want to see if anybody missed placing an order for today.
- On the right side of the screen, select the people to be included in the report by selecting their resident locations.
- Click the Create Report button.
If No Residents Missed the Selected Meal Service
If no residents missed placing an order for your selected meal service, then no resident names are displayed.
If a Resident Missed the Selected Meal Service
If one or more residents missed placing an order for your selected meal service, then their names are displayed, along with the last meal they ordered.
Filtering Out People from the Report
By default, the 1+ meal ago filter is selected, which shows all residents who have missed your selected meal service for the report. Two other filters are available to see only those who have missed orders for two or more consecutive meal services, explained as follows:
- 2+ meal ago - only shows residents who have missed placing orders for two or more consecutive meal services. Selecting this filter removes residents whose last order was one meal service before the meal service you selected for the report. For example, if the meal service selected for the report is lunch, and the resident's last order was breakfast today, the resident will not be in the report.
- 3+ meal ago - only shows residents who have missed placing orders for three or more consecutive meal services. Selecting this filter removes residents whose last order was two meal services before the meal service you selected for the report. For example, if the meal service selected for the report is lunch, and the resident's last order was dinner the day before, the resident will not be in the report.
