POS reports v2.0 offers the following sales and payments summary reports:.
Sales by Date, Order Source and Service Type
Sales by order source (POS, Kiosk, Portal) and fulfillment type (table service, take out, room service, pick-up) , order count and dollar amount of meal plan vouchers redeemed and tax information summarized in a pivot table.
Payments by Type
Total payments categorized by the type of payment used, date and source. Helps in reconciling daily deposits and sales with payments. Excludes sales and refunds to meal plans and amounts covered by meal plans. Meal plan activity is covered separately from normal payments.
Meal Plan Activity by Type and Diner
Meal plan activity categorized by the type of meal plan used. Includes order amounts covered by meal plans and the resulting balance adjustments to meal plans (points or dollars).
Sales by Location, Staff and Diner
Total sales grouped by location, staff and diner. Overview of sales grouped by different people and places. Useful for census taking and getting an overview of service by location, Server and the resident or staff diner served.
Sales by Menu Category
The Sales by Menu Category report lists the total sales grouped by menu categories. This report is useful for menu planning and understanding which categories perform best.
Discount Summary
Summary of all discounts applied by the Staff who applied the discount and the diner who received the discount. Overview of the types and amounts of discounts given over a specific period. Helps in identifying the impact of discounts on overall sales and profitability.
Sales by Meal Period
Total sales categorized by by breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. Useful for optimizing staffing and inventory based on daily food service periods and service shifts.
