Features

New and Improved Menus Module

Working with menus has now become easier with an improved design, workflow, and terminology. Some highlights:

Ability to edit menus directly from the week-at-glance (WaaG) view.
New layout and functionality for a menu item extension grid.
Menu templates (rather than master menus)

PCC Connect Interface: Additional Direction Text

When processing a diet order message from the PCC Connect interface, and the message contains additional directions, then the profile note is now caveated with the text: PCC diet order additional directions followed by the directions, so as to clearly indicate that the message is from PCC. For example, PCC diet order additional directions: Make Hot 100 degree for Foods.

If a subsequent diet order message is received, and there are no additional directions in the new message (but in a previous message there were additional directions), then the word "None" is displayed after the PCC diet order additional direction text to clearly indicate there are currently no additional directions.

Export of eOG Status Page

The data on the electronic order guide (eOG) status screen can now be exported as an Excel® file. via a new Export button on the screen (Internal reference: DEF-5868).

Area	Details
Recipes & Foods	When editing or creating a tag, fixed issue preventing the Linked Texture drop-down from being available to make a selection. (Internal reference: DEF-6281) When attempting to create a recipe from an extension template, fixed issued causing "Recipe preparation step(s) description can't be blank" error message. (Internal reference: DEF-6386) For a recipe extension grid, fixed issue with the I icon (Revert to Master) mistakenly appearing when the grid has not been changed from the master recipe. This was occurring with accounts with a custom diet type. (Internal reference: DEF-6858) For a substitute recipe opened from a recipe extension grid, and the recipe uses a special unit of measure (SUoM), fixed issue with the Change Portion Size field on the Edit Extension window mistakenly capturing the unit of measure text (e.g., Fl. oz), whereas the field should only accept numerical values. This caused confusion by mistakenly allowing you to think you could enter text when updating the portion size, which in turn was resulting in the "quantity contains an invalid fraction" message. Menu	Fixed issue with a specific prepared food not being available to add as a menu item, after that prepared food was converted from an ingredient by the MealSuite Nutrition services team. (Internal reference: DEF-6548) For the Week-at-a-Glance (WaaG) report, fixed issue with error appearing when the Sort By option is Choice. (Internal reference: DEF-5868) For the Cost Summary report and the Cost Analysis report, fixed issue with report mistakenly including meal services (breakfast, lunch, dinner) that were not selected via the category settings. (Internal reference: DEF-6146)
Vendors and Vendor Products	eOG Status screen supports new vendor interface. (Internal reference: MSV2-5518) On the Vendors listing screen, fixed issue with Publish option mistakenly being available for a vendor that is already published. (Internal reference: DEF-6396) Resolved vendor-specific issue with incorrect pack size parsing. (Internal reference: DEF-6755) For vendors that use a group purchasing organization (GPO), fixed issue in which hovering cursor over a GPO name was mistakenly showing the name in all lowercase (Internal reference: DEF-6440). On the Vendor Product Selection screen, resolved issue with the food item list not loading after selecting a menu and all diet and texture types. (Internal reference: DEF-6788) Resolved issue with product count on vendor product list not matching between an account and its associated DC review unit (both use the same customer number). Purchase Orders	For a corporate account that is searching for a specific product to add to a shopping cart, and the results were returning multiple Availability statuses (from products being available in different distribution centres), the word Varied is in the Availability column rather than listing multiple statuses.
