*To power a Stripe terminal reader, attach to a wall power outlet using a USB Type-C cable and charger block.
WARNING: Do not attempt to power a Stripe terminal reader with an Elo® expansion module. The expansion module will not provide enough power.
Provide Pairing Code to MealSuite Support to Activate Reader
Once a Stripe terminal reader is physically installed and connected to the internet, it needs to be activated in the POS by MealSuite Support.
The activation process involves generating a pairing code on the reader and providing it to MealSuite Support. The pairing code is only valid for a short time; therefore call MealSuite Support first and then generate the pairing code during the call. The pairing code is generated as follows:
- Tap the Settings button and enter the admin pin: 07139. The Admin Options screen appears.
- Tap the Generate pairing code option to generate the pairing code.
- Provide pairing code to MealSuite Support.
Running a Test Transaction
Tun a test payment transaction of at least 50 cents. If the test payment transaction is successful, then you can do a test refund transaction.
