This article covers the PAX A920 PRO, PAX A30, and PAX A35 terminals.
Connecting to Wi-Fi
To connect your PAX terminal to your Wi-Fi network, complete the following steps:
- From the bottom of the main screen, swipe up from the bottom. The Welcome screen appears.
- At the bottom right, tap the arrow button twice. The Enter Password pop-up appears.
- Tap pop-up to display the onscreen keyboard. Enter the password pax9876@@ and tap Enter (note that the password 123456 may work on some devices, as passwords may vary). The Android desktop appears.
- Tap Settings > Network & Internet.
- Select you Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap Connect.
- Return to the Android desktop by tapping the Home icon (
).
- Reboot the device:
- For the PAX A920 and PAX A35, hold down the power button for 3 to 5 seconds and then release.
- For the PAX A30, press and hold the X and O buttons until the terminal reboots.
Ethernet Connection
- For the PAX A920 PRO, an Ethernet connection to your LAN requires an A920 docking base with Ethernet port. Connect the Ethernet cable between the docking base and a network wall port.
- For the PAX A30, connect the Ethernet cable between an Ethernet port on the bottom of the device and a network wall port.
- For the PAX A35, connect the Ethernet cable between the Ethernet port that is located on the A35 communication cable and a network wall port.
