About the Datacap TranCloud™ Server
If your facility is using a dedicated payment card processor (e.g., Heartland Payment Systems), then it can integrate their POS. Integration saves time and eliminates potential human error by preventing the user from having to manually enter transaction amounts on the PIN pad and then confirming approved (or rejected) transactions on the POS.
MealSuite uses Datacap Systems as its intermediary between the POS and your facility’s payment card processor.
As part of this integration, a physical device called the TranCloud Server is installed on your local network to allow communication between the PIN pads and Datacap. Typically each building will have its own TranCloud Server, but more than one TranCloud Server can be installed on the same network in a building if needed.
