How do I change the display name (i.e., user-facing name) of a menu item?
The display name (i.e., user-facing name) of a menu item can be changed via its associated recipe. To do so, complete the following steps:
- Open the recipe (either from the menu or from the Recipe Listing screen).
- In the Display Name field, enter the name. The display name does not have to be unique (i.e., other recipes can have the same display name). The character limit is 30.
- At the top right of the slide-out panel, click Save to apply your changes.
How do I add or change the description of a menu item?
The description of a menu item can be changed via its associated recipe. To do so, complete the following steps:
- Open the recipe (either from the menu or from the Recipe Listing screen).
- In the Description field, enter the description. The character limit is 150.
- At the top right of the slide-out panel, click Save to apply your changes.
How do I add or change a menu item image?
The image of a menu item can be added/changed via its associated recipe. For more information and instructions, see the following separate article: Recipe Photos.
In addition, each menu consists of a photo gallery that contains the current photos selected for the items (i.e., recipes) in the menu, and identifies items currently without a photo. From the photo gallery you can review the existing photos and generate new AI photos as needed, or manually upload digital photos if desired.
