Changing Display Name, Description, or Image of a Menu Item

How do I change the display name (i.e., user-facing name) of a menu item?

The display name (i.e., user-facing name) of a menu item can be changed via its associated recipe. To do so, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the recipe (either from the menu or from the Recipe Listing screen).  
  2. In the Display Name field, enter the name. The display name does not have to be unique (i.e., other recipes can have the same display name). The character limit is 30.

  3. At the top right of the slide-out panel, click Save to apply your changes. 

How do I add or change the description of a menu item?

The description of a menu item can be changed via its associated recipe. To do so, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the recipe (either from the menu or from the Recipe Listing screen).  
  2. In the Description field, enter the description. The character limit is 150.

  3. At the top right of the slide-out panel, click Save to apply your changes.
