Firing an Order for a Diner

If your POS is not configured to automatically fire orders to the kitchen upon payment (see Configuring Service Settings for a POS Location), then you are required to fire orders prior to the checkout process. You fire an order as follows:  

  1. If you are a POS dining room location, select the diner whose order you want to fire to the kitchen.
     
  2. On the right side of the screen, tap the Fire button. The screen refreshes with the Fire Seat button (second screenshot below).

  3. Tap the Fire Seat button. The order is fired to the kitchen. 
     
  4. Another means to fire an order is on the Overview tab by tapping either the Fire Items button or Fire All for the diner whose order you want to fire.

Firing All Orders for a Table

A quick means to fire all orders for a table is as follows. 

  1. If you are a POS dining room location, select any diner. 
     
  2. On the right side of the screen, tap the Fire button (first screenshot below). The screen refreshes with the Fire Table button (second screenshot below).

  3. Tap the Fire Table button to fire all orders for the table.

Another means to fire all orders for a table is as follows: 

  1. Tap Floor Plan.
     
  2. Tap the table to be fired. The Overview tab appears displaying the seated diners (second screenshot below).

  3. Tap the Fire Table button to fire all orders for the table.
