Firing an Individual Course for a Diner
Method 1: The quickest means to fire an individual course for a diner is as follows:
- Select the diner whose course you want to fire.
- On the right side of the screen, for the course you want to fire, tap its Fire Course button. The items in that meal course are fired to the kitchen.
Method 2: Another means to fire an individual course to the kitchen is on the Overview tab by tapping the Fire Course button for the course and the diner.
Firing All Courses for a Diner
Method 1: The quickest means to fire all courses for a diner is as follows:
- Select the diner whose courses you want to fire.
- On the right side of the screen, tap the Fire button (first screenshot below). The screen refreshes with the Fire All Courses button (second screenshot below).
- Tap the Fire All Courses button. The courses are fired to the kitchen.
Method 2; Another means to fire all courses for a diner is as follows:
- Tap Floor Plan.
- Tap the diner's table. The Overview tab appears displaying the seated diners (second screenshot below).
- For the diner whose courses you want to fire, click their Fire All button.
Firing All Courses for a Table
Method 1: A quick means to fire all courses for a table is as follows:
- If you are a POS dining room location, select a diner.
- On the right side of the screen, tap the Fire button (first screenshot below). The screen refreshes with the Fire Table button (second screenshot below).
- Tap the Fire Table button to fire all courses for the table.
Note: With the above method, if not all seats have had their order taken yet, then the following message appears to give you option of firing the table or not.
Method 2: Another means to fire all courses for a table is as follows:
- Tap Floor Plan.
- Tap the table to be fired. The Overview tab appears displaying the seated diners (second screenshot below).
- Tap the Fire Table button to fire all courses for the table.
Note: With the above method, if not all seats have had their order taken yet, then the table is still fired, and no message first appears to indicate that not all seats have had their order taken yet.
FAQs
Can I close a table (i.e., checkout) if there are still pending courses?
Yes. Any pending courses do not prevent the checkout/close table process.
