About the Real Time Info Report
The Real Time Info report tracks current sales data from open orders (i.e., orders not yet closed) for a POS location and meal period (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
The Real Time Info report displays the following:
- Total orders
- Total sales
- Payment types
- Diner types
- List of most popular items
- Total sales by menu category
- POS operators
Accessing the Real Time Info Report
- In POS, from the Tools menu at the top right of the screen, select POS Manager. The POS Manager screen appears.
- Select Real Time Info (first screenshot below). The Closing The Day screen appears (second screenshot below).
Note the Following:
- Your current POS location is listed at the top. Click into it display a pop-up of other POS locations that you can view.
- The meal period (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is displayed on the right. Click a meal period to view its current data for open orders.
- If there are currently any open orders form a previous date, then you can see those orders by selecting the desired date.
