What’s a Paperless Kitchen Champion?
Paperless Kitchen Champions are team members who take on a leadership role in supporting the use of kitchen management and food safety technology.
Communities may have multiple Champions across different areas or applications. These Champions are encouraged to collaborate closely, share insights and support one another to ensure a seamless experience for residents and staff alike.
Am I eligible to become a Champion?

What does a Champion need to know and do?
To be considered a Paperless Kitchen Champion, you’ll need to be able to confidently:

Access and interpret reports such as:

- Service & Delivery Production Sheet
- Therapeutic Spreadsheet
- Recipes at Scale
And understand how to configure report settings to match your community’s needs.
- Complete digital checklists accurately and on schedule.
- Understand the importance of each checklist item for food safety and compliance.
- Train others on proper checklist procedures and documentation.
- Read and interpret incoming tickets from POS or Smart Service orders.
- Bump tickets when items are completed.
- Recall tickets if they were bumped in error or prematurely.
- Monitor screen flow to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
