Viewing the Appointments Calendar
Tap Appointments to view the appointments calendar and select the date to view.

You can filter the view of the calendar by the services.

You can filter the view of the calendar by the staff member schedules.
Booking a Service Appointment in a POS Service Location
To book a service appointment in a POS service location:
- Tap the Book Service tab.
- Tap the service you want to book. The service expands with a list of staff members offering the service.
Note: A POS service can be created in Touch Admin (see Adding Services to the POS via Touch Admin). A POS service can also be created by a POS operator with access to the POS Manager module (see Configuring Services in the POS).
- Tap the staff member whose schedule you want to view (you can can tap more than one staff member).
- Tap View Schedule(s). The schedule appears for the selected staff member showing the available appointment blocks (second screenshot below).
Note: Schedules for staff members are created by a POS operator with access to the POS Manager module. See the following article for instructions on creating and managing schedules: Managing Staff Schedules.
- Tap into the desired appointment block, and the New Appointment panel appears.
- If needed, you can adjust the appointment duration via the From and To fields.
- You have the ability to create a recurring appointment. If so, select the Recurring Appointment check box, and enter the necessary details.
- Tap into the Client field to display the Assign Client pop-up.
- In the Search field, enter the name of the client to assign to the service, and tap Assign to assign the client to the appointment.
- In the Notes field, you can enter any notes if required.
- Tap Save Appointment to create the appointment. If the selected appointment time(s) conflict with another appointment, a message appears indicating such, allowing you to edit the appointment duration or ignoring the conflict and keeping the appointment duration.
- If no appointment conflicts (or ignoring the appointment conflicts), the panel refreshes to allow you to pay now. If not paying now, then tap X to close the panel.
- The booking is now available from the Appointment calendar.

Deleting an Existing Service Appointment
- Locate the appointment in the Appointments calendar (explained above) and tap its View button. The Appointment pop-up appears.
- Tap the Delete button (first screenshot below), and then tap Delete again to the confirmation message that appears (second screenshot below).
Changing Time of an Existing Service Appointment
- Locate the appointment in the Appointments calendar (explained above) and tap its View button. The Appointment pop-up appears.
- Tap the Edit button (first screenshot below), and the screen refreshes for you to select a new date and time (second screenshot below).
- Tap Save to apply your changes.
- If the appointment is a recurring appointment, the following dialog appears giving you the option to apply the change to this occurrence or all occurrences.
Processing Payment for a Service Appointment
To process payment for a client with a service appointment:
- Tap the Appointments tab and locate the desired appointment.
- Tap the Checkout button. The Shop screen opens with service automatically added to the order.
- Process the payment by tapping the Pay button.
