Activating a New Menu Board Device (Client Steps)
To activate a new Menu Board device, you will need to contact MealSuite Support. Prior to doing so, complete the following steps:
- Retrieve the code for your menu board device by accessing the menu board URL (menuboard.mealsuite.com/menu), and copying or writing down the code that is generated, as per example screenshot below.
- Contact MealSuite Support and provide them the following:
- The code.
- The name of the device.
MealSuite Support Steps
First ensure a menu board configuration exists for the account prior to activating a menu board. Once confirmed, activate a menu board as follows:
- Retrieve the code and the name of the device from the client.
- In the Core system, from the left navigation sidebar, select Tools & Setup > Hardware Devices. The Menuboards and POS Devices screen appears.
- Click the Add a New Device button. The Add New Device slide-out panel appears.
- Enter or select the following:
- Name - enter a name for the menu board device.
- Key - enter or paste the code (not case sensitive).
- Device type - select Menuboard.

Menuboard Setting - select the menu board configuration.
- Click the Create Device button to activate the device. On the client side, the menu board screen will refresh with the menu display.
