FAQs
What is the default view on an interactive menu board?
For an interactive menu board, the default view is the All Meals view.
However, the default view can be configured to be the current meal (i.e., Current Meal button is automatically selected) which displays breakfast, lunch, and dinner during their set times.
To set the default view to the current meal, for each meal period (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), select the Automatically adjust view on menu board to current meal during selected times option, and ensure there are times entered in the Start Time and End Time fields.
For an interactive menu board, if a meal period (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is not set with a duration time, what does the menu board display for the current meal view?
If a meal period is not configured with a Start Time and End Time, then breakfast displays for the current meal view (i.e., Current Meal button is tapped).
For an interactive menu board, what happens on the menu board if the default view is switched?
When an end-user switches from the default view on the menu board, (i.e., switches to menu for the week, also available menu, snack menu, different day, different diet/texture types), and the screen remains idle for 15 seconds, the menu board automatically reverts to the default view.
