The People module in MealSuite contains the resident, patient and staff profiles for you to manage their dining requirements. The resident and patient profiles contain the relevant information that determine what meals can be consumed based on their diet order, diet order restrictions, allergens, likes and dislikes, and personal menu customizations.
If your account is connected to an EHR (electronic health record) system (such as PCC or Epic) via a MealSuite EHR Connect interface, then resident/patient information is automatically created and updated in MealSuite.
MealSuite also utilizes people groups. People groups are designed to categorize the different types of people in a facility to allow you to store specific information about people types and effectively manage people for their dining requirements. For example, a standard resident group, a long-term care group and an acute care group.
