About Training Mode for POS and KMS
Training mode can be enabled for your account that allows users to put POS quick service locations, POS dining room locations, and the KMS (accessed via the Touch app) into training mode. In training mode, users can operate in the POS and the KMS without risking live data and disrupting operations.
Training Mode in POS
With training mode enabled for an account, the following occurs with a POS quick service location or POS dining room location:

On the POS sign-in screen, a Training Mode control is available that puts the POS session for the user into training mode.
When in training mode, a red banner at the top of the screen indicates such. Note that you cannot process payments by credit card in training mode.
Training Mode in KMS
With training mode enabled for an account, the following occurs for a Touch app user:
On the Touch app sign-in screen, a Training Mode control is available that puts the Touch app session for the user into training mode.
The user only will have access to the KMS in training mode. And when in training mode, a red banner at the top of the screen indicates such.
MealSuite Support Task: Enabling Training Mode
Training mode is enabled by MealSuite Support. If you are MealSuite Support, complete the following steps to enable training mode for an account:
In the Touch Admin software, click Account Settings. The Edit Location screen appears.
Select the Enable Training Mode (creates isolate training schema) check box.
Scroll to the end of the screen and click the Update Facility button to apply your changes.
