Can readings be switched from Fahrenheit to Celsius?
At this time, readings are taken in Fahrenheit and this cannot be customized.
How to reconnect temperature sensor to the gateway device?
- Bring the temperature sensor close to your iMonnit gateway device and press the Utility button on the gateway.
- Remove the batteries from the sensor. Wait for 30 seconds. Reinsert the batteries into the sensor.
- Allow a few minutes for the sensor to establish a connection with the gateway device.

How do I confirm if an alert was sent?
In Touch Admin you can view active and past alerts. See Viewing Alerts from a Temperature Sensor.
How do the gateway devices connect to the internet?
A gateway device connects to your facility's network via an Ethernet cable plugged into a network port. A gateway device cannot connect to the client's network via WiFi.
How do I run a report of recorded temperatures?
There are a variety of reports you can generate from the Touch Admin site. To learn more, click the links below:
How long are recorded temperatures stored in the report history?
Report history does not expire.
Can notifications from temperature sensors be sent to a third-party notification and alert platform, such as Status Solutions?
Yes, assuming that the platform can accept an alert email from MealSuite.
Can I reset the gateway device for troubleshooting purposes?
Yes. On the back panel of the device is a Utility button that will reset the device.
Can the gateway device be set to a static IP address?
The gateway device by default is configured with DHCP to use a dynamic IP address. If you require the device to be a static IP address, contact MealSuite Support with the following info:
- Gateway ID and Code (located on the bottom of the gateway device).
- IP address you want assigned.
- Subnet Mask
- Default Gateway on your network.
- DNS Server details (can use the Google Public DNS)
