Clearing Cache in Google Chrome™
It is recommended to clear your browser cache regularly to help resolve any website problems that can be experienced, such as slow load times or formatting issues. This in turn will help your computer run more optimally. To clear your browser cache in Google Chrome™, complete the following steps.
- Open Google Chrome.
- From the top right, click the More icon (
), and then click More tools > Clear browsing data (first screenshot below). The Clear browsing data pop-up appears (second screenshot below).
- From the Time range drop-down, you can select a specific time range of collected data to clear; however it is recommended to keep All time selected.
- Select the following check boxes:
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Optionally, you can also select the Browsing history check box to clear your browsing history.
- Click the Clear data button.
Clearing Cache in Microsoft® Edge
It is recommended to clear your browser cache regularly to help resolve any website problems that can be experienced, such as slow load times or formatting issues. This in turn will help your computer run more optimally. To clear your browser cache in Microsoft® Edge, complete the following steps.
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- From the top right, click the Settings and More icon (
), and then click Settings.
- From the left menu, click Privacy, search, and services.
- Scroll down to the Clear browing data section and click the Choose what to clear button (first screenshot below). The Clear browsing data pop-up appears (second screenshot below).
- From the Time range drop-down, you can select a specific time range of collected data to clear; however it is recommended to select All time.
- Ensure all the check boxes are selected.
- Click the Clear now button.
