About Signing In To the MealSuite Portal App
If single sign on (SSO) for the MealSuite Portal app is not enabled for your account, then users will be required to sign in to the Portal App.
This article explains how a resident/patient signs in to the Portal app and includes a one-page quick guide at the bottom that you can fill out for a resident patient and distribute as needed.
Prerequisite Information
Location Code
A user will require their location code to open the Portal app for the very first time. The location code is the facility ID for your MealSuite account. Please reach out to your nutrition manager or dietary manager for your facility ID. In addition, you can contact MealSuite support for your facility ID.
After signing in the first time, a user will not need their location code for future sign-ins.
Note that depending on your account's system domain, a prefix may have to be entered in front of the location code:
- Synergy domain - preface the code with "C". For example, C12345.
- dineOS - preface the code "US". For example, US12345.
- MealSuite domain - no prefix is required; enter the code as is. For example, 12345.
PIN Code
A user will need to know their PIN code. For a resident, a PIN code can be their year of birth. A PIN code can be confirmed by your nutrition manager or dietary manager. Opening the Portal App for the Very First Time
- Tap the Get Started button. You are prompted to enter your Location Code (aka facility ID).
- Enter your location code (aka facility ID) and tap Go. As noted, if you do not know your location code, then contact your nutrition manager or dietary manager. Note that if in Canada, you have to preface the location code with "C". For example, C12207.
Note: After signing in the first time with the location code, you will not need to enter it again for future sign-ins.
Signing In
- At the Sign In screen, enter your first name and last name,
- Enter your PIN code. Your PIN code may be your year of birth. You can confirm your PIN code with your nutrition manager or dietary manager.
- Tap Sign In.
- Congratulations! You are now signed in to the app.

Attached at the bottom of this page is a quick guide that you can print and fill out for each resident/patient who uses the Portal app
On each quick guide that you will print, write in the following unique info for the resident/patient:
- Their name.
- The location code.
- Their PIN code.
