Order Statuses on Resident Listing Screen
The Resident Listing screen (for AO and IO), displays order status labels for patients/residents. For residents assigned the AO service type, the statuses are a quick way to see if orders have been placed, and their current status (e.g., order scheduled, production complete, etc.).
Order Statuses on the Service Dashboard
Order statuses can also be viewed on the Service Dashboard. For residents assigned the AO service type, the service dashboard is a quick way to see if orders have been placed or not by them. For more information and instructions, see Viewing Order Statuses on the Service Dashboard.
Order Status Descriptions
When an order is placed for a meal period for a resident, a status will immediately be displayed as the order progresses. The statuses are as follows:
| Order Status | Description |
| The Add Refusal status indicates that an order has yet to be placed for the meal. Tap Add Refusal to add a refusal for the meal (see Entering a Meal Refusal for Resident below). | |
|
The Cancelled status will only be applied to residents with the advanced ordering (AO) service type. When you see a cancelled order, you can follow up with the resident and if needed retake the order. An AO order can be cancelled for one of the following reasons:
|
|
| If the diet order change logic is set to Drop Non-Compliant or Drop Non-Compliant and Autofill (set in the Touch Admin software), and a diet order change to the resident/patient profile in the Core system results in items being removed from an existing order, the affected meal period is identified with the Incomplete Order status label. | |
| The Refused status indicates that the meal was refused (i.e., skipped). | |
| The Order Scheduled status indicates that the order has been placed for the meal, but production is not yet completed. | |
| The Production Completed status appears when the order has been fulfilled (i.e., bumped) | |
| If meal delivery tracking is enabled for in-room orders (see Tracking In-Room Deliveries), the Out For Delivery status appears when the order has been fulfilled. | |
| If meal delivery tracking is enabled for in-room orders (see Tracking In-Room Deliveries), the Delivered status appears when the staff member uses their M50 Elo® device to scan the receipt barcode on the ticket. |
Note that is a resident is off-premise for a meal period, then the following status is displayed:
| The Off Premise status indicates that the resident has been marked as LOA (i.e., off-premise) in the core system. |
