KMS Training Mode
The KMS in the Touch app can now operate in training mode! With training mode, kitchen staff now have a safe way to practice workflows in the KMS without risking live data and disrupting operations.
To enable your facility with KMS training mode, please reach out to MealSuite Support. If you are MealSuite Support, see the following article on enabling training mode: Enabling Training Mode.
With KMS training mode enabled for your facility, a Training Mode control becomes available on the Touch app sign in screen (first screenshot below) that allows a user to put their session into training mode.
The user only will have access to the KMS in training mode. And when in training mode, a red banner at the top of the screen indicates such.
May 21 Enhancements
New Login Experience
Logging into the Touch App has now been streamlined. Only when logging in for the first time are you required to enter the Provider and Facility Code.
Subsequent logins will take you automatically to the screen with your username and password, which are pre-populated.

Defect Fixes
May 22
- For the People Service report addressed issue with with non-food items mistakenly displaying with portion size of 1.0 or unknown, and with some food items mistakenly displaying portion size as unknown. (Internal reference: DEF-12854)
- Fixed issue with personal menu item being mistakenly removed from an AO order. (Internal reference: DEF-12363)

- On the People Service report, resolved issue with fluid substitutions and personal menu items not being reflected from a personal menu. (Internal reference: DEF-12666)

- Fixed error occurring for Order History report and Presence & Wellbeing report. (Internal reference: DEF-12721)

- On HACCP > Temperature Sensors > Paused Sensors tab, fixed issue with the Activate Sensors button not working. (Internal reference: DEF-12771)
- On the Template Submissions window, which is opened when viewing an HACCP compliance report (i.e., checklist), fixed issue in which scroll bars were not available to navigate the screen. (Internal reference: DEF-12647)

- Fixed an issue with kitchen tickets for entire dining areas randomly failing to print, or printing completely blank (showing all resident info but no food items), when using the Touch app with scheduled ordering. (Internal reference: DEF-12642)

- For an auto-generated printed AO ticket, fixed issue with room details not being generated. (Internal reference: DEF-12571)
- For an auto-generated printed AO ticket, fixed issue with tickets not printing by the delivery sequence. (Internal reference: DEF-12352)
- Fixed issue with diet order not being generated on printed production ticket for a to go order from a POS station, despite the Do not display Diet Order on KMS screen or printed tickets option not being selected for the KMS station associated with printer. (Internal reference: DEF-11325)
