FAQs
I can't see my new diet type, texture type or fluid type?
When a new diet, texture or fluid type is approved by the MealSuite Nutrition Services team, it will be unpublished in the system until you publish it. See the following respective articles to publish a diet, texture or fluid type:
Can combination textures, such as regular texture combined with pureed meats texture, be requested/created?
No, the system does not support the merging of textures into a single combination texture (e.g., regular with pureed meats). Each texture in the system is defined separately, and therefore you will need to manage each texture type independently for menu planning and resident/patient profiles.
Is there a character limit when entering the name?
The system does not have a character limit when entering a name, but it is not recommended to have more than 40 characters, so that the diet/texture/fluid type can be fully displayed in the the system and reports.
