Become a Champion – lead with impact
When you step into the role of a Champion, you're not just mastering a system, you’re becoming a catalyst for growth and confidence with technology in your community.
Whether you're helping teammates master a POS solution, guiding peers through a self-service app, or ensuring financial reporting is spot-on, you’re the trusted expert others turn to.
Champions inspire consistency, elevate excellence and make a real difference every day.
What’s a Smart Service Suite Champion?
Smart Service Suite Champions are team members who take on a leadership role in supporting the use of Smart Service Suite for taking and managing resident/patient orders.
Communities may have multiple Champions across different areas or applications. These Champions are encouraged to collaborate closely, share insights and support one another to ensure a seamless experience for residents and staff alike.
Am I eligible to become a Champion?
You might be a perfect fit for the Smart Service Suite Champion role if you:
- Support residents using Smart Service Suite for meal ordering (either in advance or at the time of service).
- Use the system to manage orders, monitor dietary compliance and coordinate with kitchen operations.
- Assist or manage team members who help residents place or fulfill orders.
- Are excited to support other communities or departments with Smart Service Suite launches or training.
What does a Champion need to know and do?
To be considered a Smart Service Suite Champion, you’ll need to be able to confidently:
- Place orders ahead of service on behalf of residents.
- Understand how AO tickets are generated and printed from the core system.
- Monitor and manage orders using the Service Dashboard.
- Identify and respond when orders are dropped due to dietary changes.
