Configuring Connect Interface Settings
You can configure certain settings that will be applied when EHR (aka EMR) messages are processed by a MealSuite Connect interface. For example, when an EHR discharge message is received, do you want the Connect interface to archive the person in your MealSuite account or delete the person from your MealSuite account?
Before using your MealSuite Connect interface, it is highly recommended to first configure the interface settings to what is required for your MealSuite account. This will save you time from having to manually and individually make changes to each people profile when you begin receiving EHR messages for them. Interface settings are configured via the Connect Settings screen. To access the Connect Settings screen:
- Open the Connect screen (People > Connect).
- Click the Settings button. The Connect Settings screen appears as a slide-out panel.
- After making any changes, ensure to click Save at the top right of the slide-out panel.
- A confirmation message appears, stating that exiting profiles are not affected by the changing of settings, and instead will only apply to any new incoming updates.
A Connect interface is associated with a people group. Each people group associated with a Connect interface is listed as a tab at the top of the screen so that you can individually configure its settings.
