To modify an existing diet intervention.
- From the left navigation sidebar, select Tools & Setup > Diet Orders. The Diet Order Setting screen appears.
- Select the Interventions tab. The Interventions screen appears, listing existing interventions.
- Click the name of the intervention to edit. The Intervention slide-out panel appears.
- Adjust the diet order assignments as needed.
- If needing to add a customization to the diet intervention, refer to the appropriate instructions from the separate Creating an Intervention article.
- If needing to edit an existing customization, first scroll to and expand the Customization section. For the customization to be edited, click its ellipsis and select Edit (first screenshot below). A pop-up window specific to the customization appears for you to make your edits (second screenshot below shows the Edit Serving Size Adjustment pop-up).
- If needing to delete an existing customization, first scroll to and expand the Customization section. For the customization to be deleted, click its ellipsis and select Delete (first screenshot below). Click Delete to the confirmation message that appears (second screenshot below).
- After making your changes, click Save at the top right of the panel.
- If the intervention was modified to remove a diet/texture type combination, and the intervention is currently assigned to one or more resident/patient profiles who also is assigned the same diet/texture type combination, then the following message appears stating that you cannot modify the intervention until you first unassign the intervention from the affected profiles.
- If the intervention was modified to add a customization, or edit or delete an existing customization, and the intervention is currently assigned to one or more resident/patient profiles, the following message appears stating that the intervention will be updated for those people profiles. You have the option of cancelling the modification or proceeding.
- If the intervention was modified to remove a diet/texture type combination, and the intervention is currently assigned to one or more resident/patient profiles who also is assigned the same diet/texture type combination, then the following message appears stating that you cannot modify the intervention until you first unassign the intervention from the affected profiles.
