When resolving a diet intervention data mapping issue from the Connect screen or the People Listing screen, the Resolve Diet Order pop-up appears (screenshot below). Note that a diet intervention from the EHR is identified with Modifier as the EHR component (second column in the Resolve Diet Order pop-up).
- For an unmapped EHR diet intervention, the first drop-down in the MealSuite Data section reads Diet Intervention by default. From the second drop-down in the MealSuite Data section, select from one of the following options:
- Select an existing diet intervention in your account to map the EHR diet intervention to. Note that more than one diet intervention can be selected if considered appropriate. Once selected, the system will then automatically assign that diet intervention to the resident/patient profile.

Ignore Diet Intervention - you can ignore the EHR diet intervention by selecting Ignore Diet Intervention. When the EHR diet intervention is set to ignore, it is not mapped to a diet intervention in your account, and any subsequent messages with that EHR diet intervention will be ignored by the Connect interface.

Create New Diet Intervention - you can create a new diet intervention in your account by selecting Create New Diet Intervention from the drop-down. The newly-created diet intervention is automatically assigned to the resident/patient profile. You will also be required to open the diet intervention and add customizations to it; to do so see Modifying a Diet Intervention.
- Select an existing diet intervention in your account to map the EHR diet intervention to. Note that more than one diet intervention can be selected if considered appropriate. Once selected, the system will then automatically assign that diet intervention to the resident/patient profile.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Alternatively, for an unmapped EHR diet intervention, you also have the option to map it to a diet type. To do so:
- From first drop-down in the MealSuite Data section, select Diet.
- From second drop-down in the MealSuite Data section, field, select the diet type to map the diet intervention to.
- Click the Save button to apply your changes.
