About the Delivery Sequence for People Reports
Certain people reports can be sorted in the desired print order required by staff (e.g., printing tray card tickets or tray menu tickets in a desired order). The sort option for these reports are selected from the Sort By field (screenshot below) and are described as follows:
- Name - sorts the report alphabetically by last name.
- Dining Area - sorts the report according to the sort order of dining areas (including residence area enabled as a dining area for in-room service), then sub-sorted by tables, and then further sub-sorted by seat number.
- Room - sorts the report according to the alphabetical/numerical order of residence areas.
- Delivery Sequence - sorts the report according to the delivery sequence set up for resident/patients with in-room service. This option would be selected for residents with in-room service (i.e., room delivery).
This article explains how to set the delivery sequence for the Dining Area option and the Delivery Sequence option.
"Dining Area" Sorting
The Dining Area option on a people report sorts a people report (e.g., Person-Specific Select Menus Report), first by dining areas (see Sorting Dining Areas below), then sub-sorts by the sort order of tables (see Sorting Tables in a Dining Area below), and further sub-sorts by seat number.
Sorting Dining Areas
To sort your dining areas, complete the following steps:
- Select Tools & Setup > Facility Builder. The Facility Builder screen appears.
- Select the Dining Areas tab. The existing dining areas are listed.
- Hold the = icon of a dining area to be sorted, and drag and drop it to the appropriate spot in the dining area order.
- Repeat the above steps until you have your desired order.
Sorting Tables in a Dining Area
To sort tables in a dining area, complete the following steps:
- Select Tools & Setup > Facility Builder. The Facility Builder screen appears.
- Select the Dining Areas tab. The existing dining areas are listed.
- Click the dining area name for the tables you want to sort.
- Scroll to the Table Configuration Grid section.
- Hold the = icon of a table to be sorted, and drag and drop it to the appropriate spot in the table order.
- Repeat the above steps until you have your desired table order.
"Delivery Sequence" Sorting (for In-Room Service)
The Delivery Sequence option on a people report would be selected for residents with in-room service (i.e., room delivery) and prints a report (e.g., Tray Menu Tickets Report) according to the sort order that is manually set up in the Set Delivery Sequence feature. The Set Delivery Sequence feature is accessed and set up as follows:
- Open the Facility Builder screen (Tools & Setup > Facility Builder).
- Select the Residences Builder tab to open the Residences Builder screen.
- Click the Set Delivery Sequence button. The Delivery Sequence slide-out panel appears (screenshot below).
- Expand the top level sections and sub sections as needed.
- Sort the levels to their desired order by clicking and holding a level, and then dragging and dropping it to the desired spot.
- After you have created your sort order, click the Save Sequence button to apply your changes.
People Reports with Sorting Options
The following people reports have the ability to be sorted according to the desired order required by staff.
- Dietary Profile Report (People) - lists Dietary Information
- Meal Service Report (People) - lists Meal Service Details
- Tray Card Ticket Report (People) - lists Dietary Needs (no Food)
- Tray Menu Ticket Report (People) - for Non-Select & Advance Ordering
- Person-Specific Select Menus Report (People) - for Table Select & Advance Ordering
