About Account Levels

The MealSuite system allows a parent-child hierarchy of different MealSuite account levels. A MealSuite parent account has the ability to push its configuration data (e.g., recipes, menus, diet orders, vendors, etc.) to its MealSuite child accounts.

The diagram below illustrates the MealSuite account hierarchal structure.

The account levels in the hierarchal structure are described as follows:

Hierarchy Level	Account Level Name	Description	Allowed Child Accounts
1	Database	Only available to MealSuite staff. Data (e.g., recipes, menus, vendors, etc.) held at the database level flows down to child system, corporate, and facility accounts.	System accounts Corporate accounts Facility accounts
2	System	Certain companies warrant a MealSuite system-level account that can contain multiple MealSuite corporate accounts, with each corporate containing multiple facility accounts. A system account has its own URL to the MealSuite system. Configuration data (e.g., recipes, menus, vendors, etc.) published at a system-level account flows down to the assigned child corporate accounts.	Corporate accounts Facility accounts
3	Corporate (aka Enterprise)	Configuration data (e.g., recipes, menus, vendors, etc.) published at a corporate-level account flows down to its assigned facility accounts. Note that a corporate account can be a parent to another corporate account; therefore any published configuration data (e.g., recipes, menus, vendors, etc.) flows down to the assigned child corporate accounts. 4	Facility	A facility-level account is the lowest type of account level. Note that a facility account can be a parent to another facility account; therefore any published configuration data (e.g., recipes, menus, vendors, etc.) flows down to the assigned child facility accounts.
