Viewing Ingredients in a Recipe

To view the ingredients in a recipe, complete the following steps:

1. Open the recipe.
    
2. Click the Ingredients and Preparation tab, where you can see the ingredients listed on the left. 
   
   

Identifying Food Item Ingredients, Prepared Foods, and Recipes used as Ingredients

• In the system, a food item ingredient is identified with a comma in its name. The main part of the food name is listed prior to the comma, and additional information about the food is listed after the comma. For example, Chicken, Breast Bnls Sknls Large Raw (see screenshot below). 
   
• In the system, a prepared food or a recipe does not have a comma in its name (unlike a food item ingredient). For example, Soup Broth Chicken f/Base is a recipe (see screenshot below) being used as an ingredient. 
  
  

Viewing Vendor Products of the Ingredients in a Recipe

To view the vendor products associated with the ingredients in a recipe, complete the following steps:

1. Open the recipe.
    
2. At the top left corner, click the Cost link (first screenshot below). The Ingredient Cost breakdown window appears (second screenshot below). 
   
   
   
   
    
3. The ingredients are listed on the left in the Ingredient column, and the associated vendor products for those ingredients are listed to the right in the Product column.
