Printing Recipes for your Menus
The following reports allow you to print recipes for your menus:
Recipe Cookbook Report (Menus)
The Recipe Cookbook report prints your menu recipes for use in binders and kitchen documentation. You can enter up to four serving sizes that the report will calculate. For example, 10, 25, 50, 100. Click here for steps on generating the Recipe Cookbook Report (Menus).
Recipes at Scale Report (Production)
The Recipes at Scale report prints your menu recipes scaled to the ingredient amounts needed for the total production servings (i.e., the recipes are scaled to match your production requirements, which in turn uses forecasting calculations). Click here for steps on generating the Recipes at Scale Report (Production).
Printing a Single Recipe
You can generate a PDF of a single recipe, which then can be printed. To do so, complete the following steps:
- Ensure your browser is allowing pop-ups. See Allowing Pop-Ups on your Browser.
- Open the recipe (either from the menu or from the Recipes Listing screen).
- Click the Print Preview button (first screenshot below) The PDF of the recipe is generated in a separate browser tab (second screenshot below). You can download and/or print this PDF.
Note the Following
- If nothing happens when you click the Print Preview button, it most likely means your browser is not allowing pop-ups. See Allowing Pop-Ups on your Browser.
- The single recipe PDF that is generated utilizes the Scaled Recipes Report (Recipes) with all settings selected.
- The Servings in the single recipe PDF are taken from the Yield in the recipe.
