Become a Champion – lead with impact
When you step into the role of a Champion, you're not just mastering a system, you’re becoming a catalyst for growth and confidence with technology in your community.
Whether you're helping teammates master a POS solution, guiding peers through a self-service app, or ensuring financial reporting is spot-on, you’re the trusted expert others turn to.
Champions inspire consistency, elevate excellence and make a real difference every day.
What’s a POS Financial Champion?
POS Financial Champions are team members who take on a leadership role in supporting the use of the Point of Sale for back-end financial monitoring and reporting.
Communities may have multiple Champions across different areas or applications. These Champions are encouraged to collaborate closely, share insights and support one another to ensure a seamless experience for residents and staff alike.
Am I eligible to become a Champion?
You might be a perfect fit for the POS Financial Champion role if you:
- Work on a financial or accounting team that supports POS operations across any service line (Dining, Retail, Services, etc.).
- Use Touch Admin or POS reporting tools to manage financial data and reconciliation.
- Support or manage team members responsible for financial oversight of POS activity.
- Are excited about assisting other communities or departments with financial reporting setup, audits or training.
What does a Champion need to know and do?
To be considered a POS Financial Champion, you’ll need to be able to confidently:
-
Access and interpret key reports: Use Touch Admin to run and analyze reports such as:
- Sales Activity
- Payment Transactions

-
Reconcile financial data: Validate and reconcile:

- Support payment accuracy: Ensure correct application of payment methods including Meal Plan, Bill to Room, Cash, Credit, Charge Account, and Gift Cards.
- Monitor financial trends: Identify patterns in POS usage and flag anomalies or inconsistencies.
Supporting your team as a champion
Champions should be equipped to guide others on:
