About the Snack Service Report
The snack service report lists snack service details for each person selected to be in the report. The report will not list the food items to be served. The report is commonly used if the Snack Delivery Worksheet (People) is not used so that serving staff can access snack service details to help residents and patients with their snack choices. The snack service details the report contains for a person are as follows:
- Name
- Residence area
- ID (date of birth, client ID or MRN) (option)
- Diet order (diet, texture, fluid)
- Allergens
- Resident/Patient Photos (option)
- Personal menu items (option)
- Serving size adjustments (option)
- Specific substitutes (option
- Fallback substitutes (option)
- Do not serve items (option)
- Likes and dislikes (option)
- Service notes (i.e., daily notes and individual meal period notes) (option)
- Personal notes added to menu items (option)
- Most recent profile note (option)

Formatting Options
-
Sort By:
- Name - sorts the report alphabetically by last name.
- Room - sorts the report according to the alphabetical/numerical order of residence areas.

-
Type: Consolidated - if the texture is not the same across all snack times (snack am, snack pm, snack hs), then the snack times are displayed to list the texture of each. See the screenshot below for examples.
If the Preferences & Menu Customization check box is selected, then the profile lists the following personal menu customizations: do not serve items, specific substitutes, fallback substitutes, serving size adjustments, and personal menu items. The latter three customizations are shown in their respective snack times, along with the days of the week they are served.
Type: Day Specific - displays the Days and Snacks drop-down to allow you to specify the days of the week and the snack times (snack am, snack pm, snack hs). The days you select apply to any personal menu items that are set to be served those days (viewable when the Preferences & Menu Customization check box is selected). In the example screenshot below, note the following:- Snack AM and Snack PM were the selected snack times from the Snack drop-down
- For the personal menu item "oats 'n honey granola bar", the days Tuesday and Thursday are shown, which indicates that these days were selected from the Days drop-down.
Note: If the days selected in the Days drop-down match exactly the days a personal menu item is served, then the days of the week do not display. For example, if the personal menu item "oats 'n honey granola bar" is only served on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in a person's personal menu, and you only select Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from the Days drop-down in the report settings, then the days of the week are not displayed for the oats 'n honey granola bar, as per screenshot below.
