About Liked Items
Items tagged as likes enable the server to learn the resident's preferences and make suggestions accordingly. For example, “Chicken alfredo is being served for dinner? Would you like to order this item?”
Liked Items with the Table Select Service Type
When an item is tagged as a like for a resident/patient with the table select service type, then on the Instant Ordering screen, the like is indicated with a green thumbs up.
Liked Items with the Advanced Ordering Service Type
When an item is tagged as a like for a resident/patient with the advanced ordering service type, then on the Advance Ordering screen, the like is indicated with a green thumbs up.
Liked Items with the Non-Select Service Type
Orders from residents/patients with the non-select service type are not displayed on a Touch app ordering screen. However, items can still be tagged as likes on a resident/patient's personal menu, which factor into the item selection logic for the "Serve Full Choices Paired" method. For more information, see Non-Select Service Type: Item Selection Logic for a Personal Menu > "Serve Full Choices Paired Together" Method.
