Simplified Workflow for Personal Menu Customizations after Diet Order Change (Oct. 6)
The workflow that occurs when the system informs you to copy or review personal menu customizations after a diet order change has been overhauled. Previously, customizations were tied to the diet type/texture type combination assigned to the resident/patient. With this update, customizations are now tied directly to the resident/patient, thereby allowing a simplified workflow.
With the new workflow, now when there is a change to a resident's diet order, only the Review Customizations window appears containing each customization (screenshot below). Depending on the customization type, it will either continue to be active for the new diet order or it is placed on hold for you to review and determine if you will set it as active for the new diet order.
- On-hold customizations are listed on the left in the On Hold - Needs Review column.
- Active customizations are listed on the right in the Active column.
| Customizations On Hold for Review | Customizations Automatically Applied to New Diet Order |
| Personal menu items | Likes |
| Specific substitutes | Dislikes |
| Fallback substitutes | Items manually marked as DNS |
| Serving size adjustments | Personal note added to item |
