July 30

Indication of Allergen Groups Disassociated from a Recipe

As per existing functionality, when a food item is removed from an allergen group, then for any recipe that has that food as an ingredient, the recipe will no longer be associated with the allergen group.

With the Core system release of July 30, when a recipe is no longer associated with an allergen group, the system now displays a strikethrough on the disassociated allergen group, as indicated with Carrots in the screenshot below. Prior to the July 30 release, a disassociated allergen group was simply not shown in the Allergens section.

In addition, when hovering over a disassociated allergen group, the user who removed the food item from the allergen group that caused the allergen group to be disassociated from the recipe is displayed, along with the date the food item was removed from the allergen group.

When a food item is removed from an allergen group, the following now occurs:

When viewing the food item, the allergen group that the food item was removed from is displayed with a strikethrough, as indicated with Carrots in the screenshot below. (Note that allergen groups are displayed in the Nutritional Content tab).

In addition, when hovering over the allergen group the food item was removed from, the user who removed the food item from that allergen group is displayed, along with the date the food item was removed from the allergen group.

Password Updates

Certain accounts will need longer passwords (12 characters instead of 8) with an uppercase letter, a number, and a special character. If your account is affected, you will be prompted to update your password the next time you log in.

The following listing screens now have a "page box" to allow you to enter the page number you would like to jump to:

Forecasting Worksheet UI Update

On the Forecasting Worksheet screen, the UI for the Display Options has been updated from just a monitor icon to now the monitor icon and the text "Display Options". This change makes the Display Options consistent with other screens in the system.

PointClickCare Connect Interface: Confirmation of Removal of Allergens and Diet Interventions

For the PointClick Care Connect interface settings, the setting Remove allergies and diet interventions has been introduced, explained as follows:

When a manually-added allergen or diet intervention in a MealSuite resident/patient profile does not exist in the PointClickCare profile, how should PCC Connect handle the sync?:

Request Confirmation - allows you to review and retain the manually-added allergen and interventions not present in the PointClickCare profile.
Automatically - any allergens or interventions that do not match those in the PointClickCare profile will be removed automatically.

If selecting the Request Confirmation option;

When acknowledging an allergy update message that consists of the removal of an allergy, the system will present a confirmation message that allows you to remove the allergy or keep the allergy. In addition, the Don't show this again for these allergies option is available to prevent the message from appearing again if choosing to keep the allergies.
When acknowledging an update message that consists of the removal of a diet intervention, the system will present a confirmation message that allows you to remove the intervention or keep the intervention. In addition, the Don't show this again for these interventions option is available to prevent the message from appearing again if choosing to keep the interventions.

Ability to Remove Foods from Non-Owned Allergen Group

There is now the ability to remove foods from non-owned allergen groups. Previously, you could only remove foods from an allergen group owned by your account.

When a food item is removed from a non-owned allergen group, the removed item appears in the group, but with a strikethrough line and the name of the person who removed it (screenshot below). With this new function, there is also the ability to restore the removed food item to the group. For more information and instructions, see Removing Food Items from an Allergen Group.

July 14 Enhancements

Export of Menu Listings

The Menus listing screen now includes an Export button. The menu list displayed in each tab (Standard, Snack, Special event, Also Available, Liquid) via your filter and search criteria and preferred columns can be exported to a Microsoft® Excel® document by clicking the Export button.

Migration of KMS Functionality from Touch Admin Software to Core System Software

The KMS configuration functionality has now been moved from the Touch Admin software to the Core system software.

Streamlined Activation Process for USF Electronic Order Guide Request for non-BP360 Accounts

For a non-BP360 account, the means to submit an electronic order guide activation request has been updated for a more streamlined experience.

Shopping Cart/Purchase Order: Sort and Filter by Inventory Storage Location

For products assigned to inventory storage areas and their internal storage locations, a shopping cart and PO screen now allows its products to be sorted and filtered by those storage locations via the new filter tool on the Storage Location column header. (Internal reference: MS3-10120).
